Compustar Q 9 upgrade

The compustar alarm upgrade with drone mobile is a great system that tracks your car and offers a great option for a remote start and alarm system combo. I do have a couple issues with this unit though number one is the remote. there is no case available and the screen has a glass window, can you see where I'm going with this. I keep my keys on my belt hoop and when I sat down I apparently sat on the remote and the screen went dead. The remote itself still works but you can't see anything on the screen so I took it back to Best buy. since I have the total protection plan I figured it would be warrantied.
